Improve Safety and Effectiveness
Our team members have led the design and successful implementation of clinical effectiveness, evidence-based practice and diagnostic safety programs at multiple health systems, resulting in significantly improved safety and effectiveness and decreased costs across care settings. - Design and Implement Evidence-based Programs
Our team successfully designed and implemented structured processes for developing, maintaining and measuring evidence-based guidelines and pathways. We overhauled, rebranded and led implementation of a new program, boosting efficiency, maximizing electronic integration and accelerating achievement of improvement goals. -
Enhance and Expand Research Infrastructure
Our team designed and implemented a comprehensive clinical research structure and model aimed at expanding and integrating research into clinical practice and speeding knowledge translation to the bedside. Results include improved efficiency and significantly increasing research funding while maintaining a nearly cost-neutral budget.
- Organizational QI Strategy, Framework and Roadmap
Our team partnered with a nonprofit health plan to design an organizational Quality Improvement strategy and framework, including a new structure and roles, tools, methods and a comprehensive roadmap that moved the needle from foundational to transformational impact. This engagement also resulted in increased capacity, implementation of data and analytic best practices and enhanced governance structures. -
Community Health and Advocacy Strategic Plan
Developed a five-year strategic plan and roadmap for the Community Health and Advocacy Division of a nationally ranked Children’s Hospital. Deliverables included a 5-year roadmap that positioned the division into its next phase of evolution, integrating the division across the clinical and operational functions of the enterprise and ensuring alignment with health system goals while effectively serving the community for years to come. -
Improving Adverse Event Response and Communication
We led an initiative to design and implement a robust, system-wide adverse event response and communication plan and process, resulting in a comprehensive protocol that put patients and caregivers at the center of a consistent, reliable and equitable process. We led all phases of program development including current and future state assessment, gap analysis, measurement, governance and implementation planning.

Recognized for our creativity, collaboration and industry insight, our team was successful in designing and implementing a faculty talent recruitment strategy and program to meet the ongoing demands associated with growth and mission delivery. Successes included the adoption of a collaborative, data-driven and transparent decision-making process that increased efficiency and alignment of leaders across multiple stakeholder groups, including a large academic medical center, medical school and physician practice group.

Maternal-Child Center for Opioid Research Submission and Award
Facilitated development of a comprehensive proposal for establishing the first maternal-child focused center for opioid research, played a pivotal role in the successful submission and subsequent multimillion dollar award in opioid settlement funds to Arkansas Children’s that were instrumental in creating the National Center for Opioid Research and Clinical Effectiveness (NCOR). -
Mental and Behavioral Health Strategic Planning
Planned and facilitated strategic planning workshops with providers, nurses and other system leaders to create and unite on a shared vision for mental and behavioral health at a large children’s, academic health system. Efforts resulted in a high-level future state vision and plan mapping strategic priorities across the continuum of care, and a gap analysis and impact effort assessment to support future prioritization and implementation. -
